You have to start somewhere

Redesigning a room or space can feel overwhelming, but you have to start somewhere! Sometimes it’s a sample of a tile that you think is perfect, but it really just becomes the jumping stone to get the creative ideas rolling.

This tile was a catalyst for a primary bathroom remodel.

The dreams of where it could be worked into a renovation led to the project getting underway. The soaker tub that was not used, except to open the window it blocked (you know the 1990s awkward monument taking up precious space) was first to go in the new design. That allowed the shower to expand from a 4x4 “closet” to a new barrier free walk-in shower with a privacy window. The old shower space became a linen closet with two pantries custom painted to create enormous storage space.

The original inspiration tile evolved into this chevron tile, but oh! The results!

The clothes closets did not need much revamping, but two shelves were added to a 6” wide void, creating better storage options then just stacking things “back there”

Last, no means least, change was the vanity; same size, same footprint, intigrated sinks, but floating ; and lighted mirror (which created a great challenge for a reasonable budget )

Yum!!! Transformation complete!!
